Major (Retd.) Md. Nurul Mannan Choudhury is the founder Managing Director of 3rdeyeconsulting and SecurityLink Ltd. Prior to his present assignment, he served as the founder Managing Director of Avant-garde Alliance Limited and Director of Aegis Services Ltd., a sister concern of Square Group. His passion and keen interest for professional development helped both Aegis and Avant-garde to secure a prominent position in the private security industry of Bangladesh.
Mr. Choudhury observed that most of the security companies of Bangladesh follow a financial model of business and ignores employee orientation. Though Security Industry is a low profit earning industry but he personally decided to make a mark in this industry due to his emotional attachment for these low salaried members of security industry which he developed over a period of time. He applied his ideas in Avant-garde and in Aegis and found that a good management system based on justice helps to develop a quality company in a very short time.
He achieved Board Certification on security management and became a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) in 2009 from ASIS Intl. USA. In his military career, he served as instructor in various military institutions. He has conducted security workshop for Prothom Alo jobs, ISSIT Ltd and also attended as a guest speaker for Future Leaders. He worked as security consultant for KAFCO, Palace Resort, ISSIT etc. As an instructor, he also conducted training for civil services officers and officers of Bangladesh Police. As an infantry officer he served as company commander and staff officer of various headquarters and regiments of Bangladesh Army.
The Major takes keen interest in literary writings. His first book was published in 2005.
